Encryption Software for Win16 Applications
Despite what most of us think, Win16 applications and Windows 3.x are very much still with us. Encryptionizer DE/16 provides client-side file and field encryption for legacy Win16 applications. Some of the widely used Win16 platforms are:
- CA-Clipper with FiveWin or Clip4Win
- Delphi 1.0
- FoxPro Windows 2.5 or 2.6
- Microsoft Visual C/C++ 1.52
- Visual Basic 3.0
Like Encryptionizer DE, Encryptionizer DE/16 can encrypt fields or files. However, unlike Encryptionizer DE, it uses APIs only. Therefore you can use DE/16 only where source code is available. Click here for a list of APIs.
Encryption Algorithms
Encryptionizer DE supports the following encryption algorithms for file encryption and field/column encryption:
- LLE (proprietary legacy algorithm) - 64 bit keys only
