>>TYPE: Bug

>>TITLE: Run time error VGRAB/11 in NetLib for Clipper

>>PRODUCT(S): NetLib (all versions) for Clipper

>>PLATFORMS(S): Clipper 5.0, 5.2, 5.3

>>SUMMARY:
Under certain circumstances, NetLib will generate an error "VGRAB/11" runtime error.

>>MORE INFORMATION:
This seems to be happen primarily with Clipper 5.0, but may also occur in 5.2 or 5.3. The cause is unknown but seems to be related to low memory reserves in the VM pool.

>>RESOLUTION/FIX:
Include the module XVM.OBJ in the link script. It should be included in one of your NetLib installation subdirectories, or you may download it now.

The module can be overlaid, but due to the frequency of its use, you may want to place this small module in the root.

Note: The XVM.OBJ in NetLib's Clipper 5.2 subdirectory may also be used with Clipper 5.0 or 5.3.

>>EXAMPLE(S):

# if using Blinker or Exospace
