N_XFILTER() function (or SET SERVER FILTER command in Clipper) seems to have no effect, i.e., all the records are still in view.

>>MORE INFORMATION:
N_XFILTER and SET SERVER FILTER uses a Btrieve feature that is supported only in Btrieve 6.0 or later. It is not supported by Btrieve version 5.

This feature is fully supported by RaSQL/B 6.1 or later for Clipper, or RaSQL/B 2.1 or later for FoxPro.

>>RESOLUTION/FIX:
You may need to upgrade to:
Btrieve 6.1x
RaSQL/B 6.1+ for Clipper or
RaSQL/B 2.1+ for FoxPro
